This pretty café bar draws in customers who want a snack and a drink in beautiful surroundings, but its strength is a tremendous reputation among the local British and Spanish communities for its home cooked British food. The interior is wonderfully presented in an Andalucian style and the tables are that bit different to any others you have seen. Little archways and barrels are tucked here and there, the bar is Spanish tiled and the general ambience created is one of comfort and welcome. There is, of course, a tapas display – always popular with locals.
The kitchen is well fitted with all the necessary equipment needed to cope with such a large turnover of food, including a plancha, cooker and refrigeration equipment. Downstairs, there is a large, useful, secure lock-up storage area and the bar itself has automatic security steel shutters. This is a busy place, ideal for a hard-working couple.
